driving on suspended license because of van nuys dui

Question: I was arrested for a DUI in Van Nuys but the charges were dismissed. I just got cited for misdemeanor driving on a suspended license. Why is my license suspended if the DUI charges were dismissed?
Answer: It’s possible for the DMV to suspend a drivers license based on a DUI arrest even if the criminal DUI charges are dismissed. There also could be another reason for the drivers license suspension. Call meat 818-336-1384 to discuss further.
